A domain name is a name used to locate and display a website. A domain name is an easy to remember name that refers to an IP address. An IP address is an address written in dotted decimals (such as 196.7.164.2) that computers use to determine what website to display.

A digital certificate is imposed on the SSL process and acts as an electronic passport, providing proof of identity. Digital certificates are issued directly by a trusted certificate issuing authority (eg. Thawte, Verisign). A Certification Authority (CA) verifies the authenticity of the information to be included in the certificate before it is issued.

.de & .eu Registrations

Owners must provide proof of residence in Germany (.de) or Europe (.eu) to qualify for registration.

The successful registration of domain names is dependent on a third party Registrar.
Domain registration costs are non-refundable.
Memeworx offers free domain parking.

When you change hosting companies, your domain name Registrar must be given the necessary information to redirect traffic to your new hosting location. Once your domain name registration record is updated to reflect Memeworx's network (domain name servers), you can start enjoying the full benefits associated with your Memeworx hosting account.

Memeworx offers free assistance with domain transfers.

All customers with domains registered through Memeworx will receive renewal invoices. On receipt of payment, we will automatically renew your domain on your behalf, unless you instruct us otherwise. Non payment of domain renewals will result in the loss of the domain.
